Dear Parents,

The education commission of 1964-65 adequately defines the important role of schools in building of modern India. “The destiny of India is now being shaped in her classrooms. On the quality number of persons coming out our schools will depend our success in the great enterprise of national reconstruction.”

It is my delightful privilege to introduce you to the inside and outside world of KPS, the mirror of our deeds and dreams through this almanac, the growth statics of our school in respect of enrolment, facilities, responsibilities & achievements.

Krishna Public School, our Alma Mater started her journey on 9th May, 1993, under the banner of Krishna Educational Society. The first step was taken by the school with 89 students, supported by 12 teaching staff. The beginning, no doubt was a humble one and eyes become moist reminiscing those nostalgic moments.

It was the visionary zeal of the founder Shri Madan Mohan Tripathi who navigated through turbulance and turmoil and succeeded in giving the right direction to the school to reach the destination amidst all ups and downs.

Mission

The school prepares the students as Global Citizens of future with scientific approach and quest for knowledge. Overcoming the narrow boundaries of fear, superstitions and dogmas, our students grow and develop with free spirit, broader vision and enlightened mind.

Value Education

Stress is being laid on value education to inculcate moral values, ethics and Indian culture among the students. It is developed through singing National song, reciting Shlokas, narrating religious stories and celebrating the birth anniversaries of saints, scholars and great leaders.

Subject to availability of seals students may avail bus facility as per existing rules and fares
Bus fees also will have to be remitted along with tuition fees
The school does not entertain any change in the bus route to suit the Individual's convenience

An Executive Officer is responsible for all aspects of support services within a school environment to contribute to effective teaching and learning outcomes in school. The Executive Officer will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, Board of Trustees’ policies and School Procedures within their responsibilities.

The Key Roles of the School Executives

To adapt to the distinctive characteristics of an academic environment and act in a way that exemplifies and reinforces the institution’s core values and ethos
They oversee all aspects of the School, including its control and accountability systems and approve the expenditure and capital budgets
To develop and maintain healthy relationships with key stakeholders including effective communication channels
They ensure a strategic approach to the school’s future by setting major goals, policy frameworks and strategies
To set the tone and the ethical standards of the school and monitor adherence to them;
They review and monitor adherence to systems of risk management, governance and legal compliance
To monitor organizational performance
To conduct an annual review of the School’s progress and performance in meeting its objectives
They maintain the solvency of the school.

In most of the educational institutions, children remain passive listeners in classrooms and simply learn what is written in their prescribed text-books. But this is not sufficient in the present fast changing scenario and environment. The students have to be adequately educated to become confident in their personal, educational and vocational lives. We put in our best to ensure that we churn out men and women of character, who are leaders in all walks of life.
